Serving our Community

Reaching our city through various ministries, from Free Sunday Lunches to our jail outreach ministry

Sunday Lunch

served every sunday for one hour

One of our most popular ministries, we serve free lunch to dozens of families every month. Everyone is welcome every Sunday, with no strings attached. The only requirement is a smile and an appetite for some good food! Must be present at the 11AM service. Starting time varies.

Jail Ministry

Working with forgotten man ministries

Reaching the 200 person inmate population of the Bay County Jail is a ministry particularly near and dear to the heart of our Pastor. Through weekly bible studies and worship services, Celebrate Recovery Inside, our annual Christmas sock drive, ALC is dedicated to serving the forgotten, incarcerated men and women of Bay County.

Life's Blessing Closet

donations accepted via appointment

Life's Blessing Closet is the clothing gap ministry of ALC. We stock hats, coats, socks, t-shirts and some basic necessities for those in need.

Daniel's Hope

in memory of daniel r. johnson

Daniel's Hope is the hospital visitation ministry of ALC. Inspired by Pastor Phil's late brother, Daniel Johnson, who passed away from sickle cell anemia in 2004, the committed members of this ministry visit area hospitals praying for the sick and afflicted, and handing out teddy bears to hospitalized children. Daniel (who was 18 yrs old when he passed) received a teddy bear during a hospital visit, and held on to that bear until his passing. We want to offer children that same kind of love and hope.
